Ten years after its creation, the Swiss Center for Islam and Society enjoys consensus in Fribourg

The Centre Suisse Islam et Société, attached to the University of Fribourg, is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Created in 2015, it had provoked strong political reactions and some had tried, unsuccessfully, to have it closed. Today, it has established itself as a key player in the understanding of Islam in Switzerland.
