Impact confirmed: in an unprecedented test mission, a NASA spacecraft deliberately crashed into an asteroid on Monday in order to divert its trajectory and learn how to protect itself from a potential future threat. We'll have to wait a few days to find out whether the asteroid's trajectory was indeed altered.
