Lausanne and Berne resist video surveillance on public transport

For the past fifteen years or so, a majority of transport companies have been equipping trains, buses and streetcars with CCTV cameras, with the exception of Lausanne and Bern. The backdrop to their resistance to cameras: a more human-oriented approach to passenger and driver safety.
