Does Switzerland really have too many civil servants?

The idea of reducing state resources was recently popularized by Argentine president Javier Milei, then put into practice by Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who laid off tens of thousands of US civil servants under the yoke of the Department for "government efficiency". In Switzerland, parliamentarians are also criticizing the state, deeming it inefficient and over-staffed.
