Shirine, Maxine and Ludovic are studying cinema at the University of Lausanne and have been bottle-fed American series, from "Friends" to "Dallas" to "Twin Peaks". Their professor Charles-Antoine Courcoux sees in them the unique ability of the USA to produce content with universal appeal.
