Psychosis: a Geneva study calls into question the brain's cleansing system

A team from the University of Geneva is shedding light on a little-known mechanism in the onset of psychosis. Their work suggests that a dysfunction of the glymphatic system, responsible for eliminating waste from the brain, could favor the development of psychotic symptoms, characteristic in particular of schizophrenia.
