A legacy worth millions

Swiss inherit more and more: four times more than thirty years ago. These amounts are taxed very little, if at all, in the direct line. The Young Socialists are proposing to tax inheritances of over 50 million francs to finance a climate policy. The millionaires, for their part, are already threatening to leave the country.
