Légende

A small sea slug capable of harnessing sunlight like a plant. The Emerald Elysium, or Elysia chlorotica, intrigues biologists with an astonishing strategy: as it feeds on algae, it recovers their chloroplasts, the cellular structures responsible for photosynthesis, then stores them in its own cells. Thanks to this veritable biological hijacking, it can draw part of its energy from light.
