Colorectal cancer: worrying rise in the under-50 age group in Switzerland

A study by the University of Geneva and the HUG reveals an annual increase of 0.5% in cases of colorectal cancer in people under 50. In the under-50s, these colorectal cancers account for almost 6% of all cancers in Switzerland. On the other hand, for those over 50, the number of cases is falling, thanks to screening that enables early intervention.
