At the CHUV, therapy dogs accompany children with cancer

Mary and Cookie are now part of the daily lives of certain children hospitalized in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit at CHUV Children's Hospital. Launched in November 2025, this first-of-its-kind pilot project in Switzerland introduces animal-assisted therapy to young patients suffering from blood diseases or cancer.
