CHUV at the heart of the investigation into Arafat's death

In 2004, the death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat raised questions about possible poisoning. Asked to analyze samples after the body's exhumation, the CHUV concluded in 2015 that the results "reasonably support" the hypothesis of polonium 210 poisoning.
