Children of asylum: all to school!

In Switzerland, almost half of all asylum seekers are under 18 (41%). International conventions guarantee them access to school: a place for education, but also for socialization and integration. A place to live a child's life. School accompaniment must therefore be present at every stage in the reception of refugees: from federal centers for asylum seekers, to reception classes, right through to ordinary classes. For teachers, it's a question of adapting their teaching to these refugee and asylum-seeking children, for whom Switzerland is sometimes no more than a brief stopover before they are deported. How can we support these children so that they become students like any others?
